It's a known fact that Benin was invaded punitively in 1897 with intent to plunder the rich kingdom's arts and crafts.
After plundering and burning down the once prosperous kingdom, it's treasures were sold all over the world to museums and royal homes.

Right now BARCO is joining forces and voice with all Benins worldwide and friends to fight for the Repratriation of these Artefacts.
Its the responsibility of BME and Africans to see things in the same way and partner in all area of activities to create their stories, influence their culture and the return of their artefacts that was stollen during and after 1897 Benin Invation.
What they, the British , forcefully took from the Benin Kingdom does not belong to them. So they should return if to the owners, the Benin kingdom. Oba gha to’ kpere , Iseee
